LDC 2

Yay, finally LDC 2 ended. It was good..and bad. We were told that those days of running around and kissing the tree bark were over. Guess it was so long ago that i haven't even heard of it. It turned out to be more fun than I had expected. The campsite was also very near the sea and was very windy throughout the day.

During the camp, we had lessons and all sorts of games. One of the new games featured in LDC 2 is one called Combat skirmish. It's somewhat similar to laser quest but without the flag. We had 4 guns to choose from. These were the guns they had:

Machine gun. Range 120m. Weight 3kg Extendable butt to rest in the hollow of your shoulder.

Carbine. Range 80m. Weight 2.5kg

Oosie. Range 60m. weight 2kg

Gun name and specifications classified (lol i forgot what they are). Has a very sci-fi look.

I chose the machine gun. Every gun had a scope on it to aim at the target. There was a red dot in the center of the scope that looked like it came from a laser. We could also change shooting modes like sniper mode(1 squeeze, 1 shot) and machine gun(1 squeeze, multiple shots) mode. We each had 7 lives the first round and 4 lives the next. We even had to reload the guns too after we run out of ammo and run back to the base to get resprawned. The sound effects were great, and loud. The battlefield was noisy during the pinnacle of the game. Haha too bad thouse who went for LDC 2 last year didn't have the luxury to enjoy these stuff.

O yea, everyone was talking about the female instructer who they said was very chio lol. One of my teammates kept dying so he could go back to base to see her haha.. Guess they were all so desperate after half a day without girls.

Zzz.. Stupid trainer who said he couldn't pass my hair. Now must waste time go HQ to show him that i've got it cut. Argh, why waste money on cutting my fringe? I'll just do it myself.

At least this LDC 2 was alot more relaxed than the previous ones that my friends attended. It was also 2D1N. Time passed so slowly there and I don't think i would've made it if it was a 3D2N camp.

During the graduation ceremony, we had to wait a long time for everyone to get their certificates OF PARTICIPATION and not certificate that we had all passed. I was thinking: who cares about the certificates? I just want my white cloth. (I guess only BB people will understand what I said).
