A side that people hardly sees.
Not long ago, Me, Samuel and Yan Hui went to explore and check out some places that people living in our area seldom go. We went to the Crocodile farm, heartland mall and Punggol beach. We took some pictures and videos at Punggol beach and I was tasked to put them together into a video.
Monday/Tuesday:
There was an event on Tuesday called the Festival of Games(FoG). It was a sports competition between all the other UGs in Tanglin. We had 2 categories that would run simultaniously. They are the indoor category and the outdoor category. Having them run simultaniously would mean that those representing their UG for the outdoor games are not allowed to play the indoor games and those playing the indoor games are not allowed to play the outdoor games.
I took part in outdoor games. For outdoor games, there were Basketball, Floorball, Badminton(ain't really an outdoor game) singles and doubles and Captain's ball.
I played Floorball, Badminton doubles and Captain's ball. Surprisingly, I won first place in all the games I played and so did most of my fellow UG players. The only game which we did not get first in was Game of Life in the indoor segment. Felt kinda bad that we beat everyone flat. But then again, it wouldn't be nice to lose at your own game.
In total, our UG won first place in the whole event of the FoG.
we got a huge hamper and we celebrated after that.
Today:
Went to Nevin's place today to play some pool and soccer. The plan that I was told of was to go there, play some pool and then go to Sakae Sushi for some dinner. What I wasn't told was that we were playing soccer as well. Thus, I wasn't really prepared. Went to Nevin's house after that to see Samuel, Yan Hui, Jefred and Jaryl play on Nevin's Xbox. Nevin's house seems to have an endless flow of drinks and we kept taking them from him. He'd be rich by now if he were to charge us for every drink we took.
After that, we went to an area near Jurong Point to check out the offer that Sakae Sushi was having. Unfortunately, we weren't eligible for it. I don't know what happened either. I was talking on the phone for 40 minutes. Went to Jurong Point to have some dinner. Seriously speaking, I was really sick of fast food but there wasn't anything else we could really afford and the food court was just too packed and we had to eat KFC instead. I had a whole buddy meal to myself and it was satisfying.
Enough said.
