On tuesday, there was a station near the grandstand where students were supposed to swop their old EZ-link cards for the new and improved.. ULTRA COOL Cepas Card at an extremely low price of $0.00! (tax included). Also comes with free money transfer from your previous card to the current one and you get to keep the same picture on the new card too..WITH NO EXTRA COST! Now what a deal! Quick! With the new features, you can remember how stupid (in my case awesome) you looked 2-6 years ago, rant about how ugly the new card design is to your friend, complain that the card's 'cepas' but no longer 'EZ', that you got a different texture on your card and last of all, get rid of your old card too! Yep. But me, being me, who likes to be me, screws up systems. And when I saw that you had to go to another area for your money to be transferred to from the old card to the new one and how they would take your old one, I had a thought. That I can actually keep 2 cards. I just didn't have to go to the table to activate the new one and get my old one confiscated cause the older one looks nice. So here's what I did. I took the card and um.. went of for recess after that. Yeah. XD. Really. And then I asked what possible things could happen if I didn't activate the new card and they said that the old one's going to expire and if I won't be able to use the new one without activating it first. So after school, I tried to increase it's value. Unfortunately, the machine said that the card needed to be activated. Which blows/sucks/blows/sucks/argh-whatever/blows/sucks/blows/sucks cause then I'll have to bring back the card to school tomorrow and get them to activate it and then lose my current one. But, me, being me, went to ask the people behind the passenger service counter if they could activate the card for me and they said they could. And they didn't even ask me for my current one, which is a good thing cause now I get 2 working cards. I AM WIN. pwnt the people who follow rules and stuff.
