Annual Sports Meet.

Today was our school's Annual Sports Meet or Sports day, as you might call it. It was held at Clementi Stadium and school ended early today.

Initially, I only signed up for 1 track event, 4 x 300m relay. I was really thinking about what would happen and remembering how big the track was during AQ training throughout school. When the event started, I was told that we had to run 4 x 100m relay as well so we went. We had insufficient people however but we managed to find people who wanted to run. We were up against people whose fitness levels were superior to ours but we still ran and we got..

Yep.

After that was the 4 x 300m relay. 3 of the original team remained and we got another guy to fill in for us. My turn to run was the same as Joshua's, Donavan's and Nathanial's and we ran together. WE were talking while waiting for the other runners. Donavan said he wanted to run that part of the relay as he gets to run past the whole school with everyone cheering at him lol. Tat pressure must be really great.

Turns out, 300m ain't as long as i thought it would be and I got done with it quickly and we got, thanks to Nevin..

Cool huh? And after that was the prize presentation and we were dismissed. Went to Clementi to have dinner and then to Nevin's place to play some soccer. Went home after that.

It felt good that I participated and it was fun and i met some new people too.
