Cycling and LDC1

Went for AQ cycling on saturday. It was fun. We started out early and met at Jurong Easy MRT at 7.15. Me and Rayney met earlier when it was still dark at Chinese Garden. We alighted at Bedok and took 196 to East Coast Park where Miss Chai treated us to breakfast and the orders got mixed up but we finally finished and went to rent the bikes. We cycled to a place near Changi Beach, took a break and cycled back. Total distance? About 20km. We cycled on a very new cycling track that wasn't built when we went there last year.

The way back to East Coast Park felt much shorter and Guan Yu's chain came off and Rayne had to fix it. We wanted to help but me and Nevin stopped, talked to Rayney, watch him fix it and before he was done, left them. Donavan was lagging all the way behind and on the way back, we saw Miss Chai, said hi and moved on. As we moved on, we saw Mark cycling alone. Probably too slow for those ahead? Lol. Nearing the end, I was cycling behind Nevin and he slowed down and turned. His back wheel hit my front wheel and pushed me to one side and you know what happened.. Almost broke my right thumb when I almost broke my left one just a few days ago. We switched bikes and my handlebar was bent and faced another direction when the wheel pointed ahead. We ended early before noon and took a bus to Suntec City with Nevin and Mark. Walked around and had a meal there before going off.

LDC1

Going to LDC1 as an instructor was fun but there were times of boredom. When it wasn't our time to teach, we had loads of free time and we played game consoles among ourselves. The overload of heaty food on the first day got me a sore throat which lasted until now. On the second night, we played this game called Commando Raid and the police came and we had to settle the situation ourselves. On the 3rd day(today) we went back to school for Social Studies Focus and was very tired. Apart from the brief check on Miss Chai on the second night to see how we were doing, there were no officers and had to run the whole program ourselves. I'd say YanHui did a good job.

Enough said.
